The Second China-ASEAN Seminar on Mass Media Cooperation in Guangxi and Beijing in August 2004, under the auspices of ASEAN and the People’s Republic of China was successfully held.
The seminar held discussions and presentations on “Coordinating Media Cooperation with the Development of the 10+1 Free Trade Area” and was very well received by country representatives.
The representatives of the major news media and information agencies are from China and all the ASEAN countries, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
